Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, auditing, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA certification preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
Accounts Payable experience a plus.
