Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual to join our team People Operations team as our next People Operations Generalist. This position is crucial to the smooth operation of our office and the well-being of our employees. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, able to manage multiple priorities, and possess a solid understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities

Partner with the Head of People Operations to support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding.

Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job descriptions, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.

Conduct new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.

Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with related inquiries.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Assist the Head of People Operations in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Support employee relations by addressing employee concerns and fostering a positive work environment.

Partner with Head of People Operations on Mid-Year and Year-End performance evaluations.

Partner with the Head of People Operations on training and development initiatives.

Manage and maintain company SOC2 compliance with tracking in Vanta.

Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a productive and comfortable work environment.

Manage office supplies inventory, order new supplies as needed, and maintain relationships with vendors.

Coordinate office maintenance and repairs, liaising with building management and service providers.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

Act as the primary point of contact for visitors and general inquiries.

Oversee office budget and expense tracking related to office operations.

Plan and coordinate company events, meetings, and team-building activities.
Qualifications

3 to 5 years of experience as HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar role.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively with a high attention to detail.

High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.

Strong knowledge of office management procedures and HR best practices.

Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is a plus.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail, strong critical thinking.
