Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator plays a vital role at the intersection of sales, finance, customer success, and implementation—ensuring a seamless transition from closed-won opportunities to live, thriving customers. This highly organized and detail-oriented team member is responsible for auditing closed deals, managing handoff documentation, facilitating internal communications, and overseeing the administrative processes required to launch and support new accounts.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes making sure every box is checked, every system is updated, and every team is aligned to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities

Audit all closed-won opportunities to ensure contracts, terms, and customer data are complete and accurate in the CRM.

Act as the primary liaison between Sales and internal teams to facilitate deal closure, documentation handoffs, and account setup.

Prepare internal documentation for handoffs to Finance, Billing, Implementation, and Customer Success.

Track and confirm completion of onboarding milestones for each new customer.

Own the internal "handoff packet" and workflow from Sales to downstream teams (e.g., Customer Success, Finance, Dev/Implementation).

Coordinate with the Product and Development teams on any custom requirements or implementation notes from the Sales process.

Ensure account creation, billing setup, and user provisioning are completed prior to go-live.

Maintain accurate records and communication logs across relevant systems (CRM, project management tools, internal trackers).

Keep Salesforce (or other CRM) updated with relevant post-close details and ensure all fields are correctly populated before advancing to internal teams.

Maintain pipeline hygiene and run audits on closed-won data quality and handoff completeness.

Track common gaps, delays, or frictions in the post-sale process and suggest improvements.

Act as a source of truth on new account status and ensure all stakeholders have visibility into progress and responsibilities.

Help prepare internal reporting for new account activity, handoff success rates, and onboarding timelines.

Support Sales leadership with documentation, reporting, and analysis as needed.
Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in a sales support or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., DealHub, HubSpot).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
